I represent my clients' interests with unwavering determination. I relish winning court cases, yet I also possess the skill to effectively assert my clients' interests in out-of-court negotiations; frequently, this setting allows for the discovery of a sensible and practical solution that benefits all parties involved. Ideally, however, contentious proceedings are avoided entirely because comprehensive upfront counseling ensures that conflicts do not arise in the first place. This principle applies, for instance, to national and particularly international trademark applications, for which a well-conceived trademark strategy should be developed in advance to minimize the likelihood of conflicts from the very outset.
After spending four years abroad, I completed my secondary education (A-Levels) in Cambridge, England, and subsequently pursued my university studies at the University of Göttingen in Germany and as an Erasmus scholar at the University of Vigo in Spain. I passed my Second State Examination with distinction and, immediately thereafter in 2011, established my own law firm. Since successfully completing a part-time Master’s program through which I deepened my theoretical expertise in the field of intellectual property law I have also held the academic title of Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law.
I correspond with you in both German and English, engage in regular professional development (as every lawyer should, and every specialist lawyer is required to do), and am a member of the following organizations:
• International Trademark Association (INTA)
• Working Group on Intellectual Property & Media within the DAV (AGEM)
